welcome to my blog. My painting life began in 1999 and developed into a serious pursuit after i retired 5 years ago. My painting home is the Red Door Studio in St Petersburg Florida and in Chapel Hill NC where i lived for 25 years and return to in the summers. I paint in acrylics and mixed media. My first love is to paint stories that are in my imagination, creating places where life is full of fun and humor.
